Be Part of Calgary's Cherished Holiday Tradition |
The 39th Annual Lions Festival of Lights is set to illuminate Calgary once again, and your participation can make it shine even brighter.
As the largest free drive-by Christmas lights showcase in the city, this event relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers.
Whether you're skilled in fabrication, eager to assist with installations, or simply want to contribute to a beloved community event, there's a place for you.
Fabrication Workshops are scheduled at two locations:
At Harpers Tire (5516 - 4 Street SE) at 7:00 P.M. on weekdays from October 21 to October 23.
Additionally, sessions will be held at the Shack (located on the bike path just west of the Confederation Golf Course off of 24 Avenue NW) at 9:00 A.M. on Saturdays, October 18 and 25.
Evening workshops at the Shack are also planned for October 14-16, 20-24, and 27-29 at 7:00 P.M.
Feel free to bring a friend to any of these workshops.
Installation Workshops will take place at the Shack at 9:00 A.M. on October 30, November 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 21, and 22.
Coffee and lunch will be provided each day.
These sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow volunteers and contribute to the festival's success.
